Friends of the Foundation

Friends of the Accokeek Foundation support:

  • Education programs that serve 7,000 school children and 25,000 visitors per year.
  • Preservation of Maryland's agricultural heritage and rich biodiversity at the National Colonial Farm.
  • Training and research on sustainable agriculture at the Ecosystem Farm.
  • Restoration and conservation projects that protect natural and historical treasures on our 200 acres.

Friends of the Accokeek Foundation receive:

  • Quarterly newsletters that keep you in touch with what is happening at the Foundation.
  • Access to colonial history, living resources and agriculture, on-site and through our reference library.
  • Invitations to "Friends Only" events
  • 10% discount at the Visitor Center Gift Shop
  • The opportunity to reconnect with the land, history and regional identity of the Tidewater Potomac.

The Accokeek Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization. An independent audit is performed annually. A financial statement is available upon request.
