    A Successful Launch of the Captain John Smith Geotrail

    This past Saturday, June 4, was National Trails Day and the Accokeek Foundation joined forces with the National Park Service and its Chesapeake Bay Gateways and Watertrails Network, Chesapeake Conservancy, and the Maryland Geocaching Society to celebrate this annual national day with a geocaching adventure. Approximately 200 geocacher visitors came from far and wide to seek out the first of three caches hidden at over 40 sites along the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National
