The Accokeek Foundation organized the Land as Teacher Summit – Learning and Stewarding in Right Relation this month to bring together over 100 passionate and committed educators, youth leaders, policymakers, and cultural and environmental stewards in Southern Maryland.

In honor of Earth Day, we are celebrating the role that educational programs at the Accokeek Foundation play in creating a more sustainable future.

With a heavy but hopeful heart, I write to our larger community and share my condolences for all affected by the collapse of the Francis Sco
