Join the “Revolution Then & Now: Community Voices,” a community workshop series that invites participants to reflect on the past, connect with the present, and help create a shared future during a landmark year.
In 2026, the Accokeek Foundation will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States and the 50th anniversary of the Trail of Self‑Determination. This workshop series centers community voices in shaping these commemorations.
This series opens with “Reimagining Revolution,” a workshop reflecting on ideas and movements that influence the region and nation. Participants will engage in discussions and hands‑on activities that explore history, cultural heritage, and future possibilities.
