Reimagining the Accokeek Foundation
The Accokeek Foundation Board of Trustees is hiring our next Executive Director! With the strength and vibrancy of community we have developed for over 65 years from our location within what is now Piscataway Park, we are looking for an energetic and creative leader to help us advance our Reimagining Accokeek Vision. From our location along the Potomac River in Southern Maryland near Washington, DC, within the traditional ancestral homelands of Piscataway People, past, present, and future, our next Executive Director will share our passion for the land, water, and its people and will work with us to build on our accomplishments while reaching forward to manifest our vision. Together we will nourish relationships with descendant communities by working with our many partners including the Piscataway Tribes and surrounding communities to educate, inspire, and restore.
